Declutter even if it's not physically around you

Digital detox can ease the mind

Are you always scrolling through social media?  Do you compare yourself to what others have?

It’s time to stop that.

If you have a social media account like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok and you follow people that make you criticize what you haven’t done, unfollow them.   There’s no need to indulge in content that doesn’t boost your confidence or self-esteem.

Besides the socials, consider unsubscribing to the email newsletter.  It can become overwhelming to receive messages in your inbox that you never get the chance to read.

Do you need a complete reset?

Set challenges for yourself.   For instance, remove the digital application from your phone for 15 days or 30 days.

Your mental health is imperative.

Take a step back from scrolling through your screen.

Too much schedule so little time

I get it, you want to get things done.  But, if you overwork yourself in the process by doing too much, it can drain you.

Eliminate doing activities that aren’t necessary.   For example, if you know you have other obligations you are committed to first, there is no need for you to add more to your schedule.

It is crucial you reflect on what’s important.

Don’t be afraid to schedule time, do absolutely nothing and allow your body to rest.  Listen to what your body needs and take action.

Say good-bye to a cluttered mentality

Free yourself.  Reflecting on past situations can cause unnecessary stress, overthinking, and issues that don’t even exist.

Allow yourself to be at peace.

No matter what has happened, be fully in the present.

Release and focus on the now.

You could write down what’s bothering you.  Then, rip it, shred it, or burn it.

You are not your thoughts.

Financial clutter

Are you worried about how you are going to pay for things?

Create a list of what you want to become debt-free of.

Next, write down what subscriptions you currently have.  Ask yourself:

Do you use this subscription?

How much are you paying on a monthly or yearly basis?

Are you actually using the subscription?

Cancel the subscription or membership.  Use those funds to pay off your debt.  Having a excellent credit score can make all the difference.

People you surround yourself with

Have a healthy relationship with yourself.

Remove connections that don’t empower you.

Cleanse your connections that don’t add value.

When you know your value, you don’t just let any connection be a part of your journey in life.

Overview of decluttering other things besides your space

Declutter what no longer serves you.  Nourish your space and surroundings.  Allow yourself to blossom in this new phase of your season.

Each season is different, so eliminate what no longer works for you.

You hold the power.

Make each season count.
