A Simple Mozzarella Cheese sticks and Pepperoni Cheese sticks
The ingredients
Mozzarella cheese
Eggs
Water
Italian seasoned bread crumbs
All-purpose Flour
Cornstarch
Oil
Pepperoni (optional)
The Process of Having a Tasty Mozzarella stick
- Grab a cutting board and cut the mozzarella cheese to your desired size.
- Separate your eggs, bread crumbs, flour and cornstarch onto different containers or plates.
- Coat your mozzarella cheese with flour first, then egg, back into the flour and cornstarch, and then place it into the breadcrumbs.(If you want to add pepperoni, add it after you dip your mozzarella stick into the egg, then into the flour and cornstarch and breadcrumbs.)
- Place your coated mozzarella cheese sticks in a aluminum pan and allow them to freeze in your freezer for up to 5 hours or overnight.
- Take out your pot and add oil. Heat the oil. Wait for it to get the right temperature and place a mozzarella stick into the oil.
- Allow the mozzarella sticks to become golden.
- Once finished, dip into your own homemade marinara sauce or simply enjoy the mozzarella stick on its own.
